Terms of service

Last updated 3 September 2026

These terms apply whenever you buy from Glow by Glover. They are written in plain English on purpose — if anything here is unclear, email us at hello@glowbyglover.com and we will explain it.

1. Who we are

Glow by Glover is a beauty retailer based in Accra, Ghana, selling skincare, body care, hair care, fragrance and related products online at glowbyglover.com. You can reach us at hello@glowbyglover.com.

2. The products we sell

We sell genuine, branded beauty products sourced from our suppliers. Everything listed on this website is in stock and held by us at the time you order — we are not a dropshipper and we do not list products we cannot ship.

We describe every product as accurately as we can, but photographs are illustrative. Colours vary between screens, and manufacturers change their packaging without telling us. A minor difference in packaging is not a fault.

Nothing we sell is a medicine, and nothing we write is medical advice. Cosmetics affect people differently. Read the manufacturer's ingredients and patch-test anything new, especially if you have sensitive skin or a known allergy.

3. Prices

All prices are in Ghana cedis (GHS) and include any applicable taxes. Delivery is charged separately and is shown to you at checkout, before you pay.

We may change prices at any time, but the price you pay is the price shown when you place your order. If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price — a pricing or typing error on our side — we will contact you before dispatch and you may either pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

4. Placing an order

Adding items to your basket is not an order. When you complete checkout and pay, you are making an offer to buy. We accept that offer — and a contract is formed — when we confirm your payment and begin preparing your order.

Very occasionally we may not be able to accept an order: an item sells out between your payment and our confirmation, we cannot deliver to your address, or we suspect fraud. If that happens we will tell you and refund you in full.

5. Payment

We accept cards and mobile money through Paystack, a licensed payment processor. Payment is taken at the time you order.

Your card and mobile money details are entered on Paystack's secure page and are never seen, handled or stored by this website. We only ever receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, and the last four digits of the instrument used.

6. Delivery

We deliver within Ghana. Delivery areas, fees and timelines are set out in our delivery policy, which forms part of these terms. Timelines are estimates in working days, not guarantees, and they start from dispatch rather than from the moment you order.

7. Returns, refunds and cancellations

Because cosmetics are personal-care goods, our returns rules are narrower than they would be for, say, clothing. What you can return, and how, is set out in full in our refund and cancellation policy, which also forms part of these terms.

8. Your account

You can check out as a guest. If you create an account, keep your password to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your login. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access to it.

We may suspend or close an account that is used fraudulently, abusively, or to place orders someone does not intend to pay for.

9. Using this website

Please do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or gain unauthorised access to this website, and do not use it for anything unlawful. The site's text, photography and design belong to us or our suppliers; brand names and product images remain the property of their respective owners.

10. Our responsibility to you

If we get something wrong, we will put it right — by replacing the item or refunding you, as set out in our refund policy. Beyond that, our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for that order.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act, 1962 (Act 137) or any other Ghanaian consumer protection law, and nothing limits our liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Your personal information

We collect your name, phone number, email address and delivery address so we can process and deliver your order, and we keep order records for our accounts. We do not sell your data. We share it only with the people who need it to complete your order — our payment processor and our delivery partner.

You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@glowbyglover.com. We handle personal data in line with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, so the date at the top matters.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

14. Talk to us first

If something has gone wrong with an order, please contact us before anything else. Almost everything is fixable, and quickly. Email hello@glowbyglover.com or use our contact page.
